ABSTRACT

The Committee earnestly request every Trade throughout the Kingdom will do their utmost in conformity with the Resolutions;—they trust their Conduct in not pressing the Bill the Session will meet the Approbation of all Parties concerned. The Evidence taken before the Committee, was presented to the House of Commons on the 31st of May, by Mr. Rose. The Sub-Committee had several Interviews with Mr. Rose, as to further Proceedintgs, being anxious to have the Bill brought in this Session, read once, and printed, and the stand over until the next Session. He desired the Depatation to cousult the General Committee, and let him know their Determanation. Mr. Rose gave Notice, that he would move, on the Monday following, that it be referred to a Committee, which, after a few Observations, was agreed to on the asoresaid Day.
