ABSTRACT

To maintain cultural heritage is a daunting task to perform. In ‘Convergence and Fragmentation: End-Users, Dialogic Interaction and Digital Heritage’, Professor Hafizur Rahaman of Curtin University in Australia and Professor Sheikh Serajul Hakim of Khulna University in Bangladesh consider a user-centric approach to design in digital heritage projects with an emphasis on end-users’ interpretation through dialogic interaction. They also report on a user study in a project based on this approach and reflect on its findings.
