ABSTRACT
The chapter on linguistics and technology is written by Professor Niladri Sekhar Dash of the Indian Statistical Institute in India. In the chapter ‘Corpus Linguistics and Language Technology’, he reviews the state-of-the-art in corpus linguistics and language technology. The review covers some major domains of technology applications, including digital font generation and conversion, language corpus building, corpus processing, corpus annotation, and corpus utilization.
