ABSTRACT

This chapter provides readers with a baseline understanding of the history of play therapy supervision and changes made in the Association for Play Therapy, including educational and supervisory requirements. Specifically, it will address reviews to the changes to supervision and credentialing requirements to become a Registered Play TherapistTM (RPT™), School Based-Registered Play TherapistTM (SB-RPT™), and Registered Play Therapy-SupervisorTM (RPT-S™).
