ABSTRACT
This chapter begins by reviewing the six steps to conducting a VRA, gathering thematic case data, identifying risk factors, identifying protective factors, applying the WSIR, creating a risk narrative, and developing and implementing interventions. From there, the case of Jesse (from Chapter 8) is examined in detail and the six steps are demonstrated. In addition, we provide treatment notes and suggestions using the approaches outlined in Chapter 13.
