Collaborating with immigrant students, school personnel and families in times of disaster

This chapter contains some ideas about how we can begin to build an environment that promotes resiliency and prepare for possible times of disaster by making the school an inclusive welcoming and nurturing environment and also a place where parents are able to share their cultural knowledge with students and teachers. This chapter describes an SBFC School Prevention approach to strengthening school-family relationships.
