ABSTRACT

The COVID-19 pandemic deeply affected our lives and our physical and mental health, and in many ways, women paid a higher prize in their personal and professional lives. Women represent 66% of our National Health System's workforce and even more in private clinics and retirement homes. Women are not expected to ask for help and we are accustomed to doing things by ourselves. As the women shared their anxiety, fears, and sorrows and their dysfunctional relationship at home, they realized the group was alive and vital again. It is clearly evident that to avoid relapses and finally improve women's life quality, in addition to helping them with experiencing pleasant moments and resocialization, we also must treat violence issues, trauma, guilty feelings, and overall help them to finally forgive themselves.
