ABSTRACT

Clint Ramos is a Filipino American costume and set designer. In 2013, he received an Obie Award for Sustained Achievement in Design for his body of work. He holds the distinction of being the first BIPOC person to win a Tony Award for Best Costume Design in a Play (Eclipsed, 2016) and has also been nominated for costume design (Once on This Island, 2018; Torch Song, 2019; and The Rose Tattoo, 2020) and set design (Slave Play, 2020). Ramos maintains a fervent commitment to making the theatrical world more equitable and accessible to those historically underrepresented in the profession.
