ABSTRACT

This chapter conveys an approach for the actor to derive an intuitive response to Shakespeare’s language in the creation of images that the actor projects and performs. It is the “words, words, words” given to the characters to speak that, by their logical and emotional order in the context of the scene, reveal the images and actions inherent in the playwright’s language. It discusses how to develop a kinesthetic response to Shakespeare’s language and to develop the enjoyment of a feast of sensorial riches. It offers a guide that will give you the ability to communicate exact meanings.
