ABSTRACT
sir frederick maurice, great grandson of the Founder, became Principal of the College between the two Great Wars. He had charm, wisdom and humanity, was approachable and kindly, with wide understanding. He will go down to history as one of the great principals of the College. After he had retired from the principalship he became Chairman of the Corporation, and continued to serve on the Council till failing health and old age compelled him to give up.
