ABSTRACT
Comparative ethnography is the systematic engagement of fieldwork-based participant observation through a comparative lens. Using comparative ethnography, we can better understand different cultures, societies, and communities. This chapter provides a quick introduction to comparative ethnography through applied, on-the-field examples.
