ABSTRACT

The idea of subterranean passages we have is connected to mobility, the necessity to move quickly from a part to another of our cities. And the fastest way is to move by the Tube in London, the U-bahn in Berlin or by an underground railway in any other big town in the world. Galleries and stairs which go down in the belly of the cities offering no other options than walking fast to reach our destination, without looking around to other people going the same way. The theme of isolation in this environment which is left as an outlaw area where homeless find a refuge from cold and rain and young artists leave a sign of their presence.
