ABSTRACT

This chapter presents meaningful stories from six LGBTQ+ dietitians in British Columbia, which were collected, abridged, and coanalyzed by the storytellers and two story archivists. Each story concludes with its “moral:” succinct first-person reflections on the lessons or teachings to be taken from these stories. Collectively, these stories elicit themes of belonging and self-acceptance, and iterate the many deep meanings food holds in our lives.
