ABSTRACT

Ace(ing) ED is a one-page, six-panel black, grey, and white autobiographical comic about the author, Mikey Anderson’s, experience with asexuality and disordered eating. The comic examines topics ranging from the manifestation of the artist’s disordered eating from trauma to the implications of social media’s constant imagery of ideal gay bodies and bias from dating apps.
