ABSTRACT

If the deadly pandemic has established anything, it is that the world is one. No treatment can be effective until there is no one left to cure. But beyond medical cures, the crisis has sharply highlighted the need for a healing process, a change in thinking, attitude, and behaviour to usher in a kinder, gentler society. That calls for new systems of political empowerment, economic sharing, and social responsibility. Otherwise, the world faces the spectre of annihilation.
