ABSTRACT

This chapter looks at the links, settings and professionals that form the fundamental building blocks of a child’s school life. From nursery to secondary and all that’s in between, this chapter will look (and listen) to different professionals across the key stages and from a variety of different settings. Professional reflections and ‘Top Tips’ aim to help others with their own reflections and suggestions for improved practice. Personal experiences will provide invaluable insights into the many different stages and structures within the world of education, highlighting the many pivotal relationships and the crucial transitions linked to the outcomes of successful collaboration with families.
