ABSTRACT
This chapter previews the volume and identifies several themes that cut across multiple chapters, including (1) prosperity, (2) the diversity of and within megachurches, (3) Pentecostalization and indigenization, (4) the influence of megachurches, and (5) affect in and as an aspect of megachurches' growth.
