ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on workload, which is reported as one of the biggest issues facing SENCOs today, and explains the terrain of Inclusion Ville. Lots of SENCOs strive for perfection. There is a drive for having the best inclusion practices and procedures, for enabling the children and young people to achieve and attain to the absolute best of their abilities. Being empowered and enabled is amazing, and part of that is readers own personal responsibility to build agency through their leadership and management. Taking the first steps to being organised, structured and utilising tools and processes will definitely aid workload reduction. The SENCOs from Inclusion Ville are now considering what to do next with their lightbulb moment. They do not want to be stuck, and with the time and investment that the mayor and the town of Inclusion Ville has given them for their self-development and wellbeing, it now feels like this is the moment to continue their journey.
