ABSTRACT

Managing data, information and knowledge is a challenge for every company or organization, and the biggest challenge is how to make those things provide the maximum benefit for the organization. Every organization has different targets, capabilities and resources. Therefore, we need a knowledge management design that includes all those aspects. In conducting a knowledge management, components of house design are used. There are at least three components – foundation, pillars, and roof. First, organizations must understand the definition of data, information, knowledge and learning organization as their assets. The function is understanding their current position and taking steps to achieve the desired position. In knowledge foundations, there are the organization, leadership and management models assisted by technology. Setting the knowledge management process starts from the creation, sharing, transfer and innovation of knowledge. The ultimate goal is achieving competitive advantage by transitioning from an information society of data, information, pieces of knowledge, and competence knowledge to a data-driven society.
