ABSTRACT

This chapter summarises key findings from more than 15 years of detailed surveys of education agents in markets around the world. In so doing, it highlights key trends in student demand over this period, and explores how student decision factors have shifted as well. The survey findings offer important guidance for effective educator–agent engagement, and also highlight how the service offerings and operating processes of education agents have changed both at the outset of and since the COVID-19 pandemic. The findings throughout are especially relevant to educators as they reflect the deep insight agents have into their local markets as well as their direct and extensive contact with students and parents.
