ABSTRACT
This chapter explores how disability performance can reveal and reconfigure inequitable experiences of mobility. Analysing three performances that use the access ramp as their creative material, this chapter considers what the ramp offers as both a symbolic and literal representation of access, and explores the possibilities it offers for imagining new ways of relating to, embodying, and conceptualizing the experience of travel.
