ABSTRACT
Drawn from her own touring experiences over 20 years in North America, Europe, and the Middle East, Nadia Adame focuses on issues that make touring difficult for disabled artists, and the solutions that can be applied to make performing and touring more accessible. Adame demonstrates how disabled performers play an essential role in shaping conceptions of professionalism, aesthetic values of performance, and the importance of having diverse bodies experienced on stages around the world.
