ABSTRACT
This chapter explores practical reflexive approaches for professionals working with children in early years and primary education. Maintenance of individual wellbeing for professionals working in education is increasingly important, especially since the COVID pandemic. The demands on educational pedagogues have intensified. As educators continue to develop curriculum and support for the future of children in society, the pressures increase. Therefore, recognition of a reflexive working approach is ever more necessary to support professional wellbeing for those working in the sector. As strategic educational adaptions continue to be made, recognition for a professional and personal awareness of self-worth and emotional ownership continues to be essential. The practical suggestions and strategies in this chapter aim to enhance wellbeing for professionals and children alike.
