ABSTRACT
Content: To analyze and interpret primary source texts, students will be able to:
explain with evidence how a writer develops and supports a claim,
respond to interpretations of historical speeches through a variety of contexts,
compare and contrast various texts and real-world events on themes and generalizations, and
evaluate rhetorical devices that influence effective argumentation within primary source documents.
