ABSTRACT
A major recurring notion is the importance of a guiding framework and an instructional model that allows implementation. The Talent Development Megamodel is a foundation to guide understanding of talent development across the life span. Teachers in TDA incorporated rigor and challenge in student learning, as they knew the importance of those elements in talent development. Teachers in Talent Development Academies (TDA) shared the impact of student learning that was relevant, authentic, and promoted real-world applications. Clearly, a well-designed and rigorous curriculum is a foundation upon which to cultivate talents and leads students to discover their passions and interests, and ultimately, develop expertise.
