Introduction

This introduction provides a general overview of this edited collection. It begins by reviewing where our previous edited collection on research ethics left off, and how this collection responds to some of the feedback we received. This chapter retains a focus on qualitative criminological research, though it includes a greater emphasis on the Global South, both from authors from the Global South and those conducting research there. The introduction proceeds with a summary of all our contributors.
