ABSTRACT

Editors facilitate conversations across contributors in Part Two to discuss three cross-cutting themes that emerged in this part of the book. Firstly, they consider disconnects between aims and practices and the ways these gaps might impede global citizenship aims. Next, contributors collectively explore ways their respective chapters spoke to the (in)equities around access to global citizenship education in theory and practice. Finally, select Part Two contributors reflect on the necessary function of critical reflections in the pursuit of global citizenship education, recognizing ways their own critical dialogues enhanced their own understandings and critical consciousness. This chapter further illustrates the potential of dialogues across silos to initiate equitable enactment of global citizenship.
