ABSTRACT
For this chapter, the editors have curated a series of embodied writing exercises that can be implemented in the playwriting classroom, workshop space, or devising studio. These exercises range from warm-ups to storytelling techniques to rasa work. Many of the exercises can be used for both introductory skill-building and/or as experiences to generate content. The exercises include step-by-step instructions, reflection and discussion questions, side-coaching tips, and ideas for next steps in the writing journey.
