ABSTRACT

This chapter demonstrates how one company used analytics to create and implement a strategy to reskill their workforce over a five-year horizon where at the end of the period most processes will be digitized, offshore energy exploration will be managed onshore, and customer interaction will be collaborative. Using the analytic process and an agile approach the company addressed both technology and change management challenges. The chapter concludes with a description of how the strategy and its implementation required creating a strong learning culture for successfully reskilling employees.
