ABSTRACT

In this chapter, Linda Robson and Duncan Coombe share their perspectives of the territory of love and work, based on existing research and what they’re learning about love at work from interviews with executives and teams in organizations representing a variety of sectors and industries, as well as their own living experience in organizations as teachers and consultants.

What is not included in this chapter is apology or doubt. They do not question whether love exists in organizations. They believe that love is innate in any human system. Their inquiry seeks to understand what the expressions of love are, across levels of organizational system, and how they can generate more love. Their research asks simply “how do organizations express love?”
