ABSTRACT

The author explores the ways in which the pandemic has brought the world face to face with its existential condition. He discusses the relevance of existential philosophy in working with people’s experience of the sudden decay of structures of meaning and certainty, death and endings, isolation, meaninglessness and freedom, which have been increasingly prevalent during times of lockdown. He explores how we can apply it to our lives in practical ways in order to foster resilience, understanding and meaning with a particular focus on existential coaching in the areas of life and business.
