ABSTRACT

The significant role of engaging with various stakeholders and crafting strong relationships with them for the development of entrepreneurship is critical. However, to the best of the researcher’s knowledge, no systematic literature review has been conducted in the specific field of stakeholder management and entrepreneurship. With the impetus to fill the gap, this study was focused on performing a systematic literature review of the available literature. The review covered 52 journal articles published between 2006 and 2023 and assembled on the basis of the SPAR-4-SLR protocol and the theory–context–characteristics–methodology framework. The current study advances theory in the field by proposing a new organizing framework to guide the synthesis of identified constructs. It has significant implications for policy and practice. However, any limitations of the Scopus database, from which papers for the study were sought, may have implications for the findings.
