ABSTRACT
This synthesis chapter takes stock of the book and derives the major conclusion around the hybrid nature of future education. The summaries bring together the research projects. The conclusion charts major reconfigurations to education, going beyond the hype around online learning and emergency campus management. Together, the findings point decidedly towards a major shift to hybrid learning. The chapter offers unique insights from the perspective of a globally oriented Chinese university. It closes by discussing the sectoral and social value of this kind of research.
