ABSTRACT

The interactions between faculty and students matter immensely to higher education experiences and success. Such interactions were impacted enormously by the COVID-19 pandemic. Drawing from institution-wide analysis, this chapter discusses the consequences arising from the shift to online and hybrid modes of provision. The chapter charts insights from teachers and students who shifted from not being tech-enabled to being tech-savvy. The chapter addresses implications for reskilling faculty, established teaching scenarios, and helping students play a more significant role in sustaining their engagement and learning.
