ABSTRACT

This is a multimedia project on the topic of posthuman conception: nine frames, like nine months for a full-term human pregnancy. The project is made of three elements: (1) philosophy (by Francesca Ferrando), (2) photography (by Gisella Sorrentino), and (3) video (by Elena Cappanera). The article consists of a textual introduction, images and video (featuring no faces but words), and a game based on existential fiction with a zen approach. The purpose is to recall the ontological significance of non-individual selfies in the digital age: the autobiography of a multispecies written on a human body.
