ABSTRACT
This chapter includes texts written during the pandemic: an article for a university journal and others for the main Mexican newspaper. They apply the ideas presented in the book to the current situation in journalistic language, making evident how they are connected to the lives of ordinary men and women and express what can be seen by everyone. The first article was written in March 2020, just at the beginning of the pandemic-to reveal its nature as well as its risks and opportunities. The last was in November 2021, after COP 25, to make evident the failure of the big and the powerful to deal with the current challenges and the courage and wisdom of young people and women that went to Glasgow to take into their hands the answer.
