ABSTRACT

The Fourth Industrial Revolution is widely described in terms of changes relating to its technical aspects. For a comprehensive and thorough examination of the changes taking place, it is equally important to focus on the social aspects of Revolution 4.0, not least because of its anticipated and already observed impact on many social areas concerning such issues as changing the characteristics of certain professions or the competence requirements from people both in and entering the labor market. The aim of the chapter is to determine the attitude of young people toward the technologies that are the basis of Revolution 4.0. This group is particularly important because, when entering the labor market, they will constitute the future staff needed to develop the concept of Industry 4.0 in modern organizations.
