ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses the notion of cybersecurity in the space domain within the context of the United States legal system. It gives an account of how cybersecurity is managed through legal processes and argues that these processes result in the legalisation of technical standards. It then presents a narrative of this legalisation process within the space domain.
