ABSTRACT
As the majority of chapter contributors to Bringing our Histories into School-based Therapy are either current members of the A Space team or have been linked with it in the past, it is self-evident that without A Space, there would be no book. All of us have a debt of gratitude to its founder, Alex Sainsbury. As we go to print, A Space is on the cusp of its 25th anniversary so it seems fitting that, as Director, I say a few words about its history.
