ABSTRACT
There is a distinct process that one may use to trace the development of a public policy. In the case of the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the LGBTQIA+ community, it is clear what the process should have been. Unfortunately, the process of development of LGBTQIA+ public policy stopped near the beginning of the public policy process, and the LGBTQIA+ community suffered grievously because of that fact.
