ABSTRACT

The typical formula for an LGBTQ+ person has been to have a place to live, a job, one's health (possibly compromised) and a car (or means of transportation to get to work), and perhaps a partner. If one removes one of those components, then life becomes considerably more difficult. During the 2008 economic dislocation, this formula was disrupted; but the disruption became even more difficult to deal with during 2020, with the economic dislocations resulting from the pandemic.
