ABSTRACT
The United States experiences significant issues involving millions of people with untreated mental health problems. The LGBTQ+ population suffers disproportionate levels of mental health concerns, both for adults as well as youth. Similar problems of disproportionality have also been identified in other countries; namely Chile (which has been compared with Brazil, Portugal, Italy, and Sweden) as well as the United Kingdom.
