ABSTRACT

This chapter examines shifts and consistencies in India’s positions at various ministerial conferences of the World Trade Organization during the Doha Round. By examining India’s positions during the WTO ministerial conferences held between 1994 and 2020, especially concerning agriculture, food security, services trade, and trade facilitation, this chapter seeks to identify if such concerns are motivated primarily by Indian domestic interests or by the commonly stated concerns of the G-33 group of developing countries.
