ABSTRACT
This chapter documents conversations with clients and reentry programming staff at a local reentry organization in Nevada, HOPE for Prisoners. Through highlighting successful reentry experiences, society can better understand the multidimensional and structural issues associated with reentry, what it means to “embrace hope”, and how experiential knowledge is paramount in cultivating a feeling of community.
