ABSTRACT
This chapter concludes the central idea of the volume by firstly explaining the research approach continuum (from conventional to critical) of the collection. Then this continuum is combined with four other continua, namely from theory-building to theory-confirming, from high to low non-standard conformance, from global to local, and from forward-looking to retrospective. The resulting four axial diagrams will add insight into the current debate on the lack of “comparative CSR” studies by identifying the already fertile patches as well as any potential research gaps in the literature.
