ABSTRACT
The philosophy, components, nuances, and contemporary research issues concerning classroom management are provided in this introductory chapter of the Handbook of Classroom Management (3rd ed.). Current global issues concerning classroom management are reviewed, and the contents of each chapter found in this Handbook are briefly summarized. An attempt is made to introduce the reader to the numerous and significant issues that shape today’s classroom management practices.
