ABSTRACT

This chapter refers to the historical context of T-groups and then moves on to present a model of intervention, developed by the author. We have also covered a model of facilitation from John Heron to augment the learning for the reader. It spans across topics of values grounded in T-Group methodology, critical elements of facilitation like methods, practices and dilemmas faced by facilitators. We bring together experiences of practitioners, including the authors to provide a practical context to this chapter. We hope that the reader will develop clarity on the task, role and functions of the facilitator and become better prepared for facilitation.
