ABSTRACT

ISABS has a 50-year history of T-Group practice. Having learned the basics of T-Group from NTL (www.NTL.org), the founding fathers of ISABS and generations of new professional members of the institution have experimented with different approaches and styles to bring richness and intensity to the learning experiences of participants.

The authors of this book brainstormed on our experiences of ISABS T-Groups, had conversations with fellow members and reviewed some of the research and experienced-based articles published in previous ISABS publications to arrive at the proposed model that we believe captures the essence of how we approach T-Groups. We believe that this model can be further researched and enhanced and could also be of interest to T-Group and other experiential group facilitators from other schools around the world.
