ABSTRACT

This is the concluding chapter of the book. This chapter articulates the processes that happen during a T-Group event in ISABS. While these processes are outside the T-Group, they are important enablers. Readers who desire to facilitate T-Groups, especially in an ISABS context, will find the information and perspectives provided here valuable. Readers beyond ISABS can read this chapter to understand how any experiential learning event needs to be organized since the principles and processes offered here are applicable for any experiential learning event.

This chapter also helps facilitators of T-Groups in any context to reflect on personal preparation that one needs to do before stepping into the room, dynamics of working with a Co-facilitator and learning to review one’s work, role and self with professional colleagues on a daily basis.

This chapter is written mostly with ISABS “physical” events in mind. Since 2020, ISABS has been experimenting with “virtual” events successfully. The virtual event is designed to map the processes that happen in physical events, though the medium does make a significant difference. Some differences are highlighted in the section on differences between physical and virtual events.
