ABSTRACT
The Arts and Humanities Research Centre attached to Nottingham University, England had arranged a conference on ‘Dalit Literature and its Translations’ in the University of East Anglia, Norwich where I was one of the invitees along with my translator Rowena Hill. I spoke about my experiences in creating my literature and how my works got translated into other important languages in the world and also some vernaculars in India. The speech highlights my literary journey.
